Church was Packed

We had an amazing day today. When I say Church was packed; while the pews were full, I speak not in terms of numbers only! The Holy Spirit packed Mount Olivet Baptist Church from start to finish. You can have a crowd without the Holy Spirit and you have nothing, but Lord when God's people get together and God's Spirit move in the midst, Mercy Lord!!!!! Packed is when "He who is able to keep us from falling, pays you a visit!" I knew when I walked into the building early Sunday morning that it was going to be a different kind of experience and possibly a first time experience on that order since I had been here. Listen to the services of the Mount Olivet Church by way of the World Wide Web at the following site http://www.mt-olivetbaptistchurch.org/MessageShare/WeeklySermons.htm then you will notice that there was no "Children's Moment" today; at least not as we have typically known it to be. Today the children did a "Black History" piece entitled, "If There Were No Black People In the World" and Yall, it was remarkable. These kids were super, they had their parts, none of them were shy, they lined across the entire pulpit and gave their speeches like they were Pros, (most of them) and ultimately made their leaders, their parents, their church family and pastor very proud. At Singing time, the choir reached back and got a couple of numbers, Wade Davis and Audrey Davidson were the lead singers and they were in the Spirit and backed by the Sanctuary Choir who was filled and moved and there it was. This is one of those days... The Anointing fell up in that place today. Point being, God is always good and always worthy to be Praised.
