The Lord is Our Shepherd

Folks why dont we have a little devotion together sometimes. It's hard out here and the only way that we can make it from day to day is through prayer by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. For scripture lets try Isaiah 30:21 "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, 'This is the way; walk in it" Amen. One of the characteristics of the relationship that exist between a shepherd and his flock is that sheep can always distinguish the voice of thier particular shepherd. The sheep's responsibility is simply to listen and follow. As Christians, we worshp and acknowledge God as our Creator and Redeemer. But how comforting it is to realize that this same great God is also "Our Shepherd." In times of stress, we can rest securely in His strong arms. Death's dark vale need not be feard since death to the believer is simply a release to God's eternal home. Be sensitive to God's inner voice with directions for you life. Determine to follow whatever He indicates. Abandon yourself to His divine guidance. Sing as you go-
