Super Bowl 2009

This is the first Superbowl Sunday in 8 years that Yvonne and I were invited and accepted an invitation to a party as opposed to hosting the party! We could not have been invited to a more classy, elegant, fine party anywhere! I hear that Barack Obama had guest in the White House. It may have been more people but no more finer than where we were. The food was not your typical, same ole basic party stuff, LOL No hot wings and meatballs here, It was one of those Eight Course Deals, where you know, you eat this, and then this is served, and then this is served, you know; served on beautiful china / stoneware whichever, It was gorgous! While I dare not tell you anymore, I tell you this; some of the most wonderful people I now know are in Rochester and I'm very fortunate that they are members of Mount Olivet Baptist Church. To the Host, who is a frequent viewer of My Blog, Yvonne and I would like to thank you for a wonderful time and feel free to invite us to any of your events at anytime! We will keep our calendar clear for your invites! Oh yeah, the HOME was OFF the CHAIN... Gosh! Plush, Beautiful, Laid from front to back and top to bottom. Thanks again, and may the Lords Continued Blessings be upon you! Oh, by the way, Who won the game? Who Played? Smile....

Sorry you had to spend your Super Bowl Sunday in elegance, but Super Bowl is all about getting fingers dirty with the hot wings, smokies, meatballs, pizza, chip/dip etc... and not china. You poor thing, hopefully next time you wont get it confuse with the church banquet.

By the way, I won the Super Bowl.

Funny! By all means there were finger foods at this very elegant Super Bowl Party, but it wasn't your typical dirty finger kind of dish. Minature Crabcakes with a dip out of this world, a ruben type dish on like an imported type cracker-like deal, a cheesy/meaty like dip for crackers, but not your typical crackers, these were like specially made. A Curry Chicken deal, A Chilli deal, tray with variety of meats, cheeses, and fruits, choice of beverages, all served on elegant ware! Your team won? Who played?
